Our Serbian brand KOOI Knitwear!

The founder of the Serbian brand KOOI Knitwear is Kornél Boldizsár, who was brought up with designing and making clothing. His grandfather came home after the Second World War with a broken hand-knitting machine, which he repaired. But wool and other raw materials were scarce, so he decided to make cardigans from worn, broken socks. He passed on his love for clothes to his (grand)children.

At the age of 23, Kornél started dreaming about his own company in colorful and unique knitted garments, of which KOOI Knitwear is the result. The brand takes its name from the pet name of Kornél, who was always affectionately called Kooi by his mother.

The photo shows the Bloom Star Multicolor. This special cardigan is composed of remnants of other cardigans, creating a unique garment. Only one of each cardigan is made, giving you an original piece of clothing.
